Doubletree Introduces Room Prototype in China
July 23, 2008
In preparation for the 398-room Doubletree Huaqiao/Kunshan in China, Hilton has developed a six-room prototype adjacent to the construction site for guests to tour and review. Hong Kong-based Liang Zhitian oversaw the prototype design. The red, green, and beige tones, along with clean lines, contribute to a contemporary yet decidedly Asian feel.
The actual 24-story, 5-Star hotel will include more than 8,200 square feet of meeting and banquet space, a rooftop garden, a heated indoor swimming pool, a Doubletree Fitness by Precor facility, and multiple dining options.
