Canyon Ranch Opens Miami Beach Resort

Canyon Ranch has opened its third resort in Miami Beach. The resort comprises 425 condos, 150 hotel suites, and a luxury spa. Miami-based Arquitectonica was responsible for exterior architecture of the entire six-acre property, including the renovation of the former Carillon Hotel. The Rockwell Group of New York City designed the public spaces, including the 70,000-square-foot wellness spa. The space has 54 treatment areas, along with Aquavana, a European thermal suite featuring water therapies, thermal spa cabins, tubs, and aquathermal bathing experiences.
The resort's guest suites, ranging from 720 to 1,200 square feet, offer 400-thread-count Mascioni linens, an Extenway Interactive television system and large flat-panel HDTV, Bose Wave radio, and a kitchen with granite counters and Kitchen Aid and Miele appliances. Imported stone floors and an Italian glass tile mosaic bring style and sophistication to the bath.
Additional amenities include a fitness center, four outdoor pools, two restaurants, and a boutique.
