Mirage
Tuesday, May 15, 2012
9:00 am – 10:30 am

There are two new VIP experiences at the Mirage. Taking over the former JET Nightclub location, 1OAK Las Vegas marks the first-ever partnership with the Light Group and New York’s preeminent lifestyle and hospitality company, the Butter Group. Opened New Year’s Eve, 1OAK is sexy, one-of-a-kind nightlife experience for partygoers designed by Toronto-based Munge Leung, featuring intriguing artwork by Roy Nachum. Meanwhile, Villas 9 and 10 at the Mirage were remodeled by Las Vegas-based Cagley & Tanner Design. These new villas combine a series of modern interventions, juxtaposed with traditional architectural detailing. This aesthetic bestows a sense of tradition and privilege, while the modern touches and vibrant punches of luxurious fabrics make the spaces feel fresh and exciting. The standouts of the villas are private backyards with large outdoor patios complete with a firepit, bar, pool, Jacuzzi, dining table for 10, and two TVs.

The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas
Tuesday, May 15, 2012
2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

The numbers speak for themselves: more than six million square feet of space covering nearly nine acres; 3,000 guestrooms; 170,000 square feet of restaurants and retail; 165,000 square feet of meeting space; 100,000 square feet of casino space; and 150,000 square feet for the Pool District. Your tour includes a project overview with The Cosmopolitan team, showcasing the work of a stellar roster of designers: The Rockwell Group, Jeffrey Beers, Adam D. Tihany, The Friedmutter Group, SEED, Asfor Guzy, Studio Gaia, Bentel & Bentel, and United Designers. View the grand lobby with its focal-point chandelier containing more than two million beaded crystals; the casino, which features a new gaming innovation—semi-private, cabana-style venues; P3 Commons, the restaurant neighborhood, arranged around a central lobby; and the Pool District, which offers three distinct experiences from quiet retreats to party central. On a key-available basis, you will see the 70th floor suites and guestrooms—stylishly residential with unexpected touches of whimsy.

Bellagio
Wednesday, May 16, 2012
2:30 pm – 4:15 pm

See what’s new at the Bellagio. In December, the resort unveiled a fresh, elegant collection of newly redesigned rooms created by the team at MGM Resorts International Design Group. See the new rooms (per availability), which are based off three distinct color palettes and boast an elegant feel pairing modern conveniences and enhanced functionality with the welcoming warmth of home. The Resort Deluxe King Rooms feature either an indigo and silver combination or a green tea and plum palette while the Resort Deluxe Queen Rooms welcome guests with an amber and butterscotch motif. Also new is the Hyde Lounge Bellagio (which opened New Year’s Eve). Occupying the Fontana Bar location and overlooking the iconic Fountains of Bellagio, Hyde Lounge Bellagio will mark the first-ever nightlife experience in Las Vegas from SBE and design icon Philippe Starck (in conjunction with Los Angeles designer Gulla Jonsdottir of G+ Design), a 12,000-square-foot, indoor/outdoor venue. And Light Group’s Caramel Bar & Lounge closed its doors in November to prepare for Lily Bar & Lounge (to be completed in February), the Strip’s newest ultra-lounge, promising to infuse a calm, cool ambiance into a high-energy club. Renovations by Munge Leung in Toronto to the 3,387-square-foot space will transform Lily into an intimate lounge with a sleek, sophisticated design and panoramic views of the casino floor.
